Does anyone know any really deep, soulful piano songs I can listen to? I really like songs like:Hana’s Eyes – Maksim MrvicaTrilogy (Final Chapter) – ATBBella’s Lullaby – Carter BurwellDoes anybody know anymore soulful piano songs? I want songs that just sound passionate and fill you with emotion. You know when you just think about life or just think about people in general? Or somtimes even a special someone? I want like a song I can listen to at the same time that is sort of connected to my thoughts.
A few of my personal favorite piano pieces are:Piano Concerto No. 27 in Bb major, K595: Larghetto- MozartPiano Concerto #23 in A, K 488- Adagio – Mozart (this one is very morose and sad sounding, with clarinet and oboe in the background at parts.)Venetian Gondolier’s Song- Mendelssohn (Slow, but not dragging and very sad, but a little romantic)
The Heart Asks Pleasure First – Michael NymanComptine d‘un Autre ete – Yann TiersenLiebestraume Nr.3 – Franz LisztA Comme Amour – Richard Clayderman
What are the title of moving piano music? I want to express my sadness feeling by playing some sad, heartbreak, moving classical piano music. Any suggestion? And not really hard please
Some moving pieces i know of are “Balcony scene” by Craig Armstrong, “Fur Elise” By Beethoven, Gymnopedia No 1, “Claire de lune” debussy, “The heart asks for pleasure First” Micheal Nyman, “Comptine D’un autre ete, L’apres midi” Yan Tiersen, “Moonlight Sonata” Beethoven. All these pieces are beautiful, and range in difficulty. Listen to them on Youtube or go to this website which has many of them on there: listverse.com/2008/06/13/top-10-easy-piano-pieces-that-sound-great/Hope you enjoy playing these! Eliza x
For elise, gymnopedie no 1(not really sad though), I don’t know a lot of sad piano songs i just know the happier ones.
What is the name of the piece/song that Ada plays in Baines Hut in the movie ‘The Piano’? It was the haunting or perhaps sensual piece of piano music that Ada played (Holly Hunters character) and she plays it when she goes to George Baines hut (played by Harvey Keitel), and he asks her to take off her dress so that he could see her arms and quotes “Play. Two keys”. I so very much would appreciate if some brilliant person could answer this agonising mystery PLEASE!
I checked out the soundtrack for this movie and found only two that could be the song you are looking for.I think. Try these two: The Heart Asks Pleasure First/The Promise — Michael NymanThe Flowers of the Forest — performed by Anna Paquin, written by Jane ElliotIf it’s not one of these two, go to the Internet Movie Database and look up the soundtrack. Then find the songs on youtube and listen to them. This movie has a pretty small soundtrack, so it shouldn’t be too hard to find the song you’re looking for.
What are some piano pieces I should learn? So my piano teacher wants me to find another piano piece to learn. Just to give you an idea of my level, I can play:”Clair de Lune”- Claude Debussy”Je te veux”- Erik Satie”Le petit Negre”-Claude Debussy”The Meadow”-Alexandre DesplatSo, I guess I’m late intermediate-pre-advanced.I want a piano song like those songs I can play. I love Erik Satie, but my piano teacher doesn’t want me to play anymore songs by him, so not him, but something like him. I like songs that are sophisticated, elegant, and bittersweet. It can be classical or modern. But, please DO NOT suggest songs like “The River Flows in You”. I cannot stand songs like that. they’re too cliche. Thank you! 🙂
